Sho Yano is a Japanese-American physician, researcher, and musician who gained fame for being a child prodigy. Born in 1990 in Portland, Oregon, Yano began his academic journey at a very young age, completing high school at the age of 9 and earning his bachelor's degree in biology at the age of 12 from Loyola University Chicago.
Yano went on to earn his MD and Ph.D. in molecular genetics and cell biology from the University of Chicago at the age of 21, making him the youngest person to ever accomplish this impressive feat. He then completed his residency in pediatric neurology at the University of Chicago.
In addition to his academic achievements, Yano is also a talented musician, having played the piano since the age of three. He has won numerous awards for his musical performances and has released several albums.
Yano's incredible intellect and accomplishments have earned him media attention and praise for his groundbreaking achievements in both medicine and music.
